Wild Child

Sometimes it’s fun to just let your hair down and spin until your heart’s content.

Being home takes me back to what it was like growing up. As a little kid, I was always a bit of a trouble maker. My mom and dad are saints for being able to put up with my mischief. Let’s just say that I’ve come a long way from scheming in the corners of my hallway, ready to watch my siblings get assaulted by the freshly baby-powdered floor. Ah, to be young and maniacal again!

All jokes aside, I’m really proud of where I was born and raised. Here’s to you, Long Island!

When I was younger, I always wanted to be a ballerina. I took a ballet class with an instructor named Ursula, and was convinced she’d steal my voice and soul in a tragic attempt to compare my life to that of The Little Mermaid’s. I still blame my inability to eat seafood on the dancing/singing fish I grew up mimicking. Oh, and I never took ballet again.
